“Welcome to the Township of North Dundas”
North Dundas is a growing municipality located in the heart of Eastern Ontario just 30 minutes south of the City of Ottawa. North Dundas is home to a population of approximately 12,000 people that enjoy a mix of rural and urban lifestyle, excellent health care facilities, essential municipal services, positive population growth, natural heritage and much more.
Located in the center of North Dundas is "Canada's Dairy Capital" as the largest milk processing plant in Canada that produces awarding winning ‘Balderson Cheese’ is located in the Village of Winchester. North Dundas also boasts the only soya bean processor in Eastern Ontario and the first flaxseed de- hulling and processing plant in the world.
North Dundas has a diversified rural economy and prides itself on having some of Eastern Ontario’s finest agricultural land. Major centres include Winchester, a full service community, and the scenic Village of Chesterville.
