Innovation Park - Queen's University

Innovation Park at Queen's University is a community of innovators and specialists where academic, industrial and government researchers work together to cultivate ideas, identify and transform important technological discoveries and, with the aid of commercialization and market development experts, propel innovations into the marketplace.

The primary purpose of Innovation Park is to stimulate innovation, commercialization and economic development in the South Eastern Ontario region by fostering interaction among the participants in the research and innovation system.

Innovation Park is home to innovative companies with interest in collaborating with leading edge researchers from the region's internationally renowned academic institutions – Queen’s University, Royal Military College, St. Lawrence College, and Loyalist College. We are building technology clusters in important areas that leverage our natural strengths as a region, as well as the proven research leadership in key areas including:

• Alternative energy
• Environmental technologies
• Advanced materials
• Medical technologies
• Convergent technologies:
o Microsystems
o Nanotechnology
o High performance computing

The Park offers leased space to secure and fully equipped facilities, as well as access to state-of-the-art R&D equipment and innovative services to help advance research, development and commercialization objectives.
