This year, Ontario East Economic Development Commission celebrates 25 years of championing the region as an exceptional place for investment. As a membership-based organization, with representation from communities both large and small, Ontario East plays a vital role in bringing together collaborative partners and stakeholders with a focus on regional economic development.
Through consultation with its members, Ontario East has clearly identified and defined industry sectors that the region has a distinct investment attractiveness. Marketing strategies in these key areas – advanced manufacturing, tourism investment, knowledge-based economy, logistics, food – have been created and implemented to showcase our region to a global investment audience.
Under the leadership and governance of a passionate Board of Directors, Ontario East will continue to work with our members to identify opportunities for all, with the hopes of creating a strong and unified approach.
