Position Title: General Manager (Independent Contractor)
Reports To: Marathon Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) Board of Directors/Chair
Position Summary:
Engaged on a full-time basis, the General Manager (GM) will work closely with the Chair and members of the MEDC Board to attract and facilitate development of new industries, business and services in the Town of Marathon for the purpose of expanding and diversifying the economy of the community as identified in the MEDC Strategic Action Plan 2010-2015 and Town of Marathon Strategic Plan. The GM is responsible for the core activities of the MEDC and will oversee and delegate job responsibilities and tasks to MEDC employees, project managers, fee-for-service and contract staff.
